In a recent post Fast Fred mentioned the rear sink in the Scenic Cruisers as being a nice size stainless sink. Does anyone have a picture they might send or point me to? |

The sink fits in a corner , each side is about 12 inches. The bowk is about 9 in diameter and 4 1/2 deep. There is room on the sides for instalation of a extra hole or two , if a shower mixer is used , or a soap pump. My method is to have a marine fixture in a new hole that serves as sink faucet , or when pulled , stretches into the now opened shower & clips in a braket to the wall. You reach over to set the temp , but controll the of -on in the shower at the spray head. The orig faucet is used by having the shower pan drain (which is a tiny bilge pump IN NOT UNDER the base pan)pump "shower waste " water to the sink. This allows really simple winterizing as a bit of antifreez is poured in the shower pan , the pump operated for 5 seconds and the antifreez gets to the sink , where it winterises the Senicruser J trap , as it flushes from the pump. Works for me,takes very little room,no waste of bay space , or need to heat a bay. FAST FRED |

Purchased a plastic HD cheapo 32 X 32 shower base and installed a SS dog bowl with 5200 sealant into the center after some triming. A $10, Rule bilge pump is controlled by a wall switch (Marine waterpruf). The shower curtan hangs on 3/4 copper tubing soldered together with 95/5 , that is also about 32 sq , but curves to match the roof rise. A hanging locker (big box) mounts in the shower area on 3 extra long slides. To take a shower we undoo 4 locks and pull the box (hanging locker) out into the coach isle. Now the shower area is empty , so fun can begin. Advantage is the shower volume gets used 99% of the time to carry clothes rather than just being an empty space. Boat folks have a hard time giving up BIG space for 1% use. Works for me, FAST FRED |
