If You have wear sleeves on the axles You do in fact need a special tool to install the wear sleeves. I borrowed one from a friend that services big trucks. I do not believe it would be cost effective to buy the tool but it may be cheaper than it apears to Me. Regards Johnn L

No special tool needed for the wear sleeves... just heat them with a propane torch for about 5 minutes. They'll slip right on and when they cool are as solid as if they were original.
Don't bang on them with a hammer and chisel.... you'll screw them up. Same with removal, heat with a propane torch for a few minutes and they'll slip right off.

For seal installation I normally don't have the right tool so I just cut a piece of hard wood in an appropriately sized circle, drill a hole through the center and run a piece of half inch all thread through the hub. Add a brace across the hub and tighten down with a ratchet.
Remember, DO NOT FILL THE HUB COMPLETELY FULL! Only fill it to the 'full' line or it will blow out everywhere you don't want it to.
