Sorry, I don't know a nicer way to ask the question than using that word...

Whilst driving awhile back I spotted a bady converted MC9 entertainer which had bay doors which appeared as though someone sealed the bays airtight, installed a huge vacuum cleaner input in each and let 'er rip. All the stainless clearly showed the door framework, like ribs poking thru in a starving horse. What in the world would cause this?

It was in the parking lot at a strip joint, so must carry the performers around. Lucky driver?! Sounds like a job for Two Dogs ;)

My guess would be that driver inattention is the cause. The stainless steel doors skins are fairly light gauge and have been stretched against the framework of the doors by hitting something(s).

The doors are sucked in on a bus full of strippers you say.

the mind reels at the possibillities.

So....Chuck.....How was the show?

As you said in another thread, Gary, "...they're cheap and foolproof as long as you are working with a properly sized fool."

Dave, the doors were caved in 'concavedly' at least 1/2" deep 'scoops', and they weren't banged up, fairly uniform and all six were this way. So luggage banging around wouldn't be the cause. It made it more noticeable that they were highly polished.

Oh well, one of those mysteries. Maybe I should go interview the travelers in the service of, er, professional curiosity... :)

Clearly there must have been an enormous source of..um...er...suction coming from inside the bus.

Or, conversely, an enormous source of pressure from outside.

Like cutting a corner too tight and plowing that snowbank back a foot
with the side of the bus?

Cut it out John, we're having to much fun making wisecracks, no time for one of us to start making sense.
