I have a MCI 102A3.....With the floor plan I'm thinking about it would be easier to put the water and waste water tanks in the center pit....I'm thinkin about 130 to 150 gal. of each...
I don't think weight would be the issue but maybe center of gravity...
Any thoughts....

Remeber that its desirable to have the toilet directly above the black water tank so's it can drop straight down. Taht more than anythign else seems to dictate where the tanks go. YOu can go at a steep angle, or even go for an air operated toilet, but 95% of coaches have the straight drop.

Yes weight on each axle and wheel is a consideration that you should calculate for your coach, along with your equipement and everything else you put in there. Genset, batteries etc if you plan on having them should all be in the equation, while keeping in mind your coaches max axle loads.

As strange as it may sound, one does have to consider weights and balances in addition to the total weight the coach can safely bear.

What this means is that the total load SHOULD be as perfect as possible both front to back and from side to side.

Your MCI can safely absorb SOME inbalance. Remember, it was designed to haul over 40 people around in near infinite configerations.

All in the front or all in the rear, or even all on one side or the other, the engineers did a superb job designing for near any eventuality.

Do what you want, but do keep in mind that a properly balanced coach will express itself with better road manners. Enjoy.

my black and fresh are in the back bay...mainly because I wanted a big living room...the farther forward you go with stuff, the less 'living area' you have....I removed 2000 pounds of seats & added 2000 pounds of ref.,bed, kitchen, water tanks,t.v. etc....I kinda disagree, think that no matter what you do with these small appliances, you aren't going to affect the balance, not argueing, just my opinion....
