Howdy friends

I'm a teacher in California that fell in love with buses abot 14 years ago, have owned 3 Gilligs and a Crown, and have helped numerous buddies find their dream bus. (Mine is a '70 Gillig with a trusty 1160 CAT and a 5 speed)

I have dismantled several to save money on parts
( an absolutely glorious job in the dirt, and Fresno summertimes) and a lot of my frends are mechanics who work for school distrct bus yards. They are an invaluable source of info.

I have also been turning a wrench since I was about 13 (I turned 48 yesterday) and have rebuilt a few engines, specifically Cummins, CAT, and Honda, and have owned and worked a bunch of diesel stuff, including Cummins 180/220/250, 1145/1160/3208 CATS, 6-71 and 6V71 Detroits, DT466 Int'l, and Isuzu, Nissan, Mercedes, Lister/Petter, Deutz and Ruggerini (ugh) diesels.

I also have friends who have converted their buses and cars to vegetable oil.

I also have driven my buses and cars south of the border about 25 times, all the way to Central America. I know the ropes, and how to keep safe from predatory policia.

If you want to talk bus, give me a call or e-mail me. I really love the old machines, and will be really sad when the last one is gone.

I also have a web site (will be up in august)
It is www.Fresnoalliance.com/WheelchairProject

My phones are
(559) 251-3814
(559) 244-1042

Happy bussin' !!
