Any of you guys know why a the fan drive would have a 1/2 end play,I tore in down and the only problem I can find it looks like a problem with Torus but the manual is not clear on the end play. This one moves so much on the fan hub drive somebody has drilled and tapped the housing and installed screws to keep the seal from running out you guys got any answers |

Luvrbus I can email you the parts blow up. The only thing I could see was if the snap ring has let go or the housing that holds the front bearing is worn. Bill |

Luvrbus The bearing looks like quite a thick one in the parts blow up. If the housing is okay with a lip behind the bearing and the snap ring in front of it which should stop any movement you might be right. Somebody may have installed the wrong bearing. Pull it out and go to a bearing place. They can look it up based on dimensions. You may need a double race type to give it the width to fill in the space. Just a thought. Bill |
