I have an 88 trooper 5-speed. I plan to change the automatic hubs to manual and want to tow it with my pd4104. The trooper owners manual says not over 35mph and not more than 50 miles the manual also doesn't distinguish between manual and automatic transmissions. Anyone tow a trooper? Any problems?

Ask the experts on this subject, Remco Towing @ 1 800 228-2481. The specs u give from the manual are indicative of standards for an automatic. With manual hubs and in neutral x neutral, or 2-wheel on the transfer case, based on other vehicles, I would venture that u will have no problems.
