Well, barring a hurricane or something. Brief info: Ford B-700 schoolie, Thomas body, rebuilt gas 460/Spicer 5+2, gutted, windows paneled LOTS of progress lately: Custom gauge panel installed with 2 voltmeters ("house" and chassis), tach, temp, oil pressure, oil temp, & fuel gauges. Everything is Auto Meter. Floor bracing for holding tanks tack-welded in place. Final welding will be done Saturday. Underbody storage in place, bodywork done, primed, ready for final paint. Floor down, ready for carpet as soon as the interior is assembled. Framing for interior walls about 80% complete (ran out of supplies...oops). 65-gallon gas tank installed. Kitchen counters mocked-up with plywood...I found a couple of minor changes need to be made. Wiring for high-mount brake & turn signal lights (the old "school bus" lights) completed. Rear scrolling sign window removed (it was cracked), paneled in, added 2 small high-intensity floodlights to the area for nighttime backing. Added key-lock on entry door ($15 at a junkyard). |

Sounds like you've got everything well under hand. I wouldn't be surprised if you use it well before January. Sometimes just imagining and building it is almost as much fun as using it. If it wasn't, I don't know how I could have stayed engaged in my 4 year long project. |
