MY FUEL LINE RUNS FROM THE TANK TO A FILTER,THEN TO A UNIT TOP CENTER ON BLOCK, ABOVE FAN PULLY-[IS THIS THE SMALL BOOST PUMP THAT BOOSTS THE PRESSURE UP TO 20-30 LBS? IF SO SHOULDN'T I HAVE 20-30 LBS AT THE SECOND FILTER,I HAVE 5 AT 1500 RPM] THEN TO A 2ND FILTER, THEN TWO LINES OUT OF FILTER TO LEFT AND RIGHT INJECTOR BANKS.

What bus make/model are you talking about? Since different manufacturers do things slightly different, it would help us help you if we knew what coach you have.

Secondly, are you really having a problem, or are you just curious about that fuel pressure? Is the coach's power way down? Cannot rev the engine much above an idle? Runs like it's starving for fuel? What's the reason behind your post? Again, this is to help us help you.

Oh, one other thing. Be careful of that "Caps Lock" key. Typing in all capital letters on the Internet is often considered to be YELLING at someone, which, I'm sure, wasn't your intention.

The unit on the center of the block is the fuel pump. If your sending unit for the fuel pressure is between the primary and secondary filters (usually mounted on the input side of the secondary) the pressure should be 60-65 psi. If it is lower, usual suspect is the primary filter plugged. If it is higher, the secondary is plugged. With your pressure at 5 psi, it shouldn't run at 1500 rpm. Check the guage first. Then check the filters.

If the filters are OK, then it is the pump or lines.
