I am in planning stage of installing a Radiator misting system for my Eagle for cross country hill climbs etc. to assist in keeping radiator cool when needed like in the old design days of these old girls. this temporary colling system when needed sounds like a good idea. The Tank will be installed between the bogie wheels and behind the torsilastic tubes. I need good information for proper electrical and plumbing of system and how to design the misting nozzle and any tips on installation etc. Thanks ahead of time, Gary |

do you still have that tank that was for the washroom...it's 15 gallon /stainless...& the 12 volt pump that goes with it works...MAIN thing is you need FILTER before the spray nozzels...they plug up real easy.... |

I used my house water system. I tapped in on the pressure side and installed a 24v lawn sprinkler valve when I activate the switch it opens the valve and feeds water to sprinklers. I installed 1/2" copper tubing around raidator, with holes drilled in it. Be sure not to get holes to big as there won't be any mist if you do. The water is not what creates the cooling. It's the evaperation of water. Neil |
