jerway150: hi my name is wayne i live in ohio four mounths in florida eight.i have a 1953 gmc 4104 coach i live in when iam in florida ihave a problem with the rubber hinges on my compartment doors i put new rubber on my doors before i went to ohio in june when i came back in september the rubber is broke dont remember were i got it can somebody tell me were to get new rubber an is there some kind of henge ican used please help thanks wayne ps happy holidays

I get my hinges from Luke at US Coach...1 888 262 2434 Remember not to use patroleum products to lube them when you install them. It eats the rubber..I use KY. Also make sure the door isn't warped...Cable

..and FWIW...
a door can look perfectly straight to the eye & be far from it .
ANY binding that causes more than minimal resistance strength to close & secure means an adjustment in needed, otherwise those hinge rubbers will become a twice a year exercise in futility .

The ones that Jim mentioned work very well. A friend of mine used them and has never needed to replace it since.
