I just got word today..Deans coach trashed and cut up a ton of old buses..one of which was a Scenicruiser..GRRRRRRRRRRRR it even had the bay doors i need.. anyone have any extra bay doors? Larry..im working on getting up there to get the glass...the job on the cape is schedualed for the 4th of sept..ill be there..providance then the cape...thanks for waiting pete |

What was the structural condition? Gotta think that someone as smart as Garry Dean saw more value in scrapping it than restoring it. |

he didnt care..he needed the room...ive been hacking up my dead work trucks for 30 years..it beats the hell out of me why you wouldnt take doors, bay doors, window frames..ANY part that is easily accessable.. i talked to his office..some lady..i have been on a list for parts there for 3 years..including those damn bay doors..i had saved up $3000.00 to take down there with me to get everything i could out of the parts buses he had..well..guess im not going to be driving 14 hours and dumping 3 k at his place.. thats gary..made my week pete |

Gary put up a whole bunch of his buses on eBay back in the winter and spring. IIRC, they didn't sell. I hate that they got scrapped, but sometimes you have to make a business decision and clear out the stuff that ain't moving. I wish I could do that with a bunch of the junk I have around here.
