Hey Guys: I used to be BrianBrownMC8, but on the way back to Colorado, I traded the 8 for a Fishbowl. LONG story! If you've got some time, the whole story is here... http://www.browncowpro.com/bus/swap.htm Pictures of the new bus are here... http://www.browncowpro.com/bus/index.htm Now that I actually have a bus where I live (see LONG story above), I plan on continuing the conversion and being an active member of the community. And hopefully a contributing one. Thanks to all of busnuts out there that helped me get into this crazy hobby in the first place. Brian Brown GMC T8H-5305 |

Sorry, Charles, I do need to finish the story. My wife caught me spending too much time writing about the bus and now I'm building bunk beds for the kids (in the house). Crrr-ack! I'll try to finish the saga tonight. Brian |

Okay, for you gluttons for more punishment... Here's Page Two of the Swap Saga: http://www.browncowpro.com/bus/swap2.htm This could turn out to be serialized, like the old stories in the paper. Enjoy, Brian |

Hey keep it up, FBB, and you're gonna be in rivalry with R. Terry, our reigning storytelling champion. Your abilities to spin a tale just might exceed your skills in 'horse-trading' sensibilities! |

He's one of the handful of busnuts I've met in real life, so I feel I can give him a poke in the ribs - he knows I'm just funnin'... besides, Coloradans already loathe Texans anyway... |

RE: "The rest" Ouch! Tough crowd. Anyways, the third and final chapter to the saga is online. This one reveals sliver of a silver lining at the end of the Bus Swap rainbow, albiet a slightly tarnished one. http://www.browncowpro.com/bus/swap3.htm Enjoy! But I thought MCI stood for "mostly crap,Invariably". Har, Har, Har! Of course there is the line of thought that says, GMC: "Generally Moved Covertly". Or for the puritans, "General Mess of Crap". |
