Around 900 to 1000 rpm. The exact rpm is not that fussy. Just enough to let the mill charge, cool, lubricate, etc., etc,. The usual rule of thumb with chilling out a hot turbo is just 2 or 3 minutes--no more--and that only with extreme conditions... ...like steep grades in the summer. Otherwise, the turbo usually cools off enough just pulling to a stop. They love SOME heat. Good luck. |
