Ian, Have you noticed the ads on top of the board? Live chats with what seems to be 4 different Russian girls? It comes up about 1/2 the time when you click on one ot the threads. Doesn't look like something you set up. | ||

I get the same ads on many, in fact most, web sites. Adscene, AdChoices, Ad's by Google, etc. I am mostly getting hamburger ad's today, but they vary. They are directed ads, I get ones for Canadian products or sites. Welcome to free web sites, I guess.... Brian | ||

Google Adsense uses your browsing habits to custom add advertising that you may be interested in. If you weren't looking at all those deviant sites like Busporn.com, you wouldn't get those adds. As was mentioned, Firefox has a blocker you can use or a better one for it is an extension called Ad Block Plus. IE has a similar, but I quit using IE many years ago so I can't help you there. | ||

Babes are OK for you whippersnappers but I can't remember what they are for!! Unfortunately, with the babes comes mucho malware which can take down your computer. So, it may come down to babes or no buses - a very tough choice for some! | ||

Oh, I love babes. But a row of them came up just as my wife walked up to my computer. Took all my sales & diplomatic skills to convince her those actually just popped up there without my help! Timing is everything and that time it wasn't my friend. | ||

This discussion makes me wonder how Dallas and Gus know so much about what happens when you click them. And Les, you saved me too. I was gonna try it just to see if Dallas was joking. Better you than me because i have the same timing issue Jim Bob does. Ian, i'd leave the ads. Bet you'll make more than with some of the more mundane ads for meds and arthritis pain. | ||

Tom, to find sites like that, you have to be a real bus nut and think inside the box. Also, when I was looking for a Domain name for my website, it seemed like a good one. Much to my dismay, it was already taken, so I just had to check it out. There wasn't anything there for many years and just recently I got hit on my domain with a bunch of emails from there. As far as Gus and Les and Brian and Jim, (Ian wouldn't admit it), go, I can't speak for their browsing habits, but there must be something extremely deviant in their behaviour. LOL. | ||
