Hey:

Any one recommend a type of oil to fill my bus rear end? Also what is the rule of thumb on where the level should be? Eagle O-1.

remove plug...oil should run out,if not stick your finger in there & down,pull it out ,nothin' on it ...add 90/140 read-end oil...autozone---orelly auto parts--pep boys....availible everywhere

the plug I'm talking about is two or three inches from the top...NOT the bottom plug....

The oil level plug in the rear end on my bus is about the middle of the differential. This is the plug to use. If you fill them any fuller than that you will have to much oil in the axle housing and could cause the oil seals to leak.
