Luke I've tried to email you and can't get hold of ya. If your busy that's cool I just want to make sure the message is getting through. I had a virus a while back and since you were in the address book I may have gotten blocked when it sent itself to you. I need the blower tube for my 6-71 in my silversides if you've got one. Thanks in advance. Nick |

Hey Nick!!!! I have not been in the office since last Thursday and I have had "No Connection" to the internet!! Last Friday I attended the Funeral of my partner and Shop Manager Bill Miller's Mother. (Bill and I have worked together for more than 30 years. We started US Coach together 24 years ago.) Then there was a long Holiday Weekend, and today the phones are jumping of the Hook, and I have been on them all day!!!! Our toll free number is well publicized, and further in order to answer your question, I must have the time to get out my 3751 book, look up the part number and then see if we can accomodate you!!!! Sound easy, then spend a day here!!!!! Nick, sorry guy, but I have seen People in this Business "Raked Over the Coals" on this and other Boards, and I really don't appreciate your Public Post, since I could not be quick enough to answer you!!! But I am only one person, there are only so many hours in the day, and I do have a personal life and it is almost 10PM Eastern Time, and Yes, I am still at work!!!! I Hope you Understand!!!! And if it's busy, rest assured, Luke's helpin' another busnut like us. . . Bless his heart!!! RJ PD4106-2784 Fresno CA |

Luke Please pass on my sincere condolences to Bill for the loss of his mother. Don't let Nicks impatience ruin your day as all of us busnuts really appreciate your help. It is guys like you that are always there when we have a problem and believe me that means a lot to many. Keep up the good work. Bill from north of the border. |

I wasn't trying to be insulting or anything of the like, just trying to make sure everything was working on both ends. I appologize for any misunderstanding. Any disrespect was the farthest from my intention. The only reason I made the post was because I've had several instance of emails not get to their destination. Again sorry for any hard feelings and please accept my condolences for the loss of your freind. Thanks for all your help past, present, and future. Nick |

Holy cow, St. Luke! Lighten up! Reread what Nick said in his original post. I don't see anywhere in it that he was being impatient. Looks to me like he just wanted to make sure you were getting his email, and yet, not be too much of a bother to you by interrupting with a phone call. I certainly can understand that, as that's pretty much how I like to operate. If it's not a critical issue, I prefer to let the service guys handle it at their leisure, and email works well for that. But if I don't get at least a reply indicating they received it and will be working on it soon, I start to wonder if it got through or not. Even a simple response is common courtesy. Snapping his head off like you did, it's a wonder you have any customers left. |

Hi Nick & Folks: I re-read my post this A.M. and was disappointed with myself!!! Nick, your question and reasoning were correct, and I offer you a Public Apology, which I hope you will accept??? And I thought about you all day, however the husband of our office manger had double eye surgery today, so Nina was not here today and my parts manager Mike & I ran around like "nuts", which we are, trying to cover all of the bases. Not Complaining, Just Explaining. We are working, when others are not, for which we are Greatful!!!! I promise to keep a pair of mittens here and at the end of a stressful day, will put them on, so that I can not touch this key board!! At 61, I Hope that I don't forget they are here!!!! Nick I will get back to you with an answer, please have patience with me!!! John Vickers of Texas, known as JLV on the Boards, a FREIND and customer called me tonight, as a result of my post, and suggested that as long as I am running around like a nut, that I rectally insert a broom, so that I can sweep at the same time!!! I asked him if I should sharpen the end to make it easier and he said: "No, you want to SWEEP, Not Hurt Yourself!!! Great to have good friends!!! Thanks for understanding this Humble Soul (Nowhere near Sainthood)!!! Happy & SAFE Bussin to ALL!!!! LUKE at US COACH |

My message didn't show up that I posted last night. Sorry to hear about the loss in the family of your friend and partner Luke. Hope the surgery today went well. I am now working in a computer store and repair facility and know what you mean about running around like nuts. When we are short handed it seems to be the most busy on the sales floor. Take a breath, as the phone rings, before you pick it up, yell at it to the effect of you don't want to talk to it, Then pick it up and politely speak with the person on the other end of the phone. It really does help. :-) Stay well Luke and I hope things slow down from hurricane speed to rat race there at work soon. |

Apology accepted but not needed Luke. I know how things can get when it seems everything happens all at once. Everything I have heard of you has all been good and I hope noone will let a stressfull day put a mark on an otherwise polite, respectfull and very helpfull soul. Although I haven't live for near the average years of this boards members my Grandpa had a saying that I try to keep in mind when things get tough. Instead of worry over things do this instead; "If you can fix it, fix it; if you can't there is no need to worry about it." Happy bussin to all. Nick |

Luke thanks for all the help and long hours you put in helping us. My 671/4104 is puring like a kitten after you took the time out and helped me with the valve replacement, and you and two dogs helped with the throttle cable. John. |

I should have posted this a month ago before I left on a trip. Just got back. I had no dash lights, low air buzzer, instruments, etc. and zilch when start button pushed. Spent dunno how long trying to figure it out. Desperate, called Luke, knew he could hardly diagnose the problem over the 'phone, but also knew I'd find a sympathetic ear. He took time from his busy day to talk to me and encourage me to keep at it. Time he didn't need to waste, time he could have used more productively. Bouyed up, I went back to work and found my problem. (I'm not going to confess publicly.) Truly, Luke is a gem. Saint Luke, indeed. |
