I have a 4905 that has low oil level on the manual trans. deep stick. Need some advice as to what weight and type oil it takes. Thanks in advance for any and all info. PAT

ITS in Da Book ,for a stick its the same oil as you put in the engine.

DD 40 wt.

Without the book how do you do the 25 or 30 items that are required every 1500 miles?

Adjust the clutch?

Adjust the brakes?

Figure out the wiring , when every thing gets dark?

Just wondering?

FF: Real fact is, most without the book don't do those 25-30 items u mention. They didn't realize the value of the relatively inexpensive manual and they don't recognize the value of doing the routine maintenance either. They just wait for the problems to manifest on the shoulder of the highway! Nothing worse than being broke down while travelling and a sure way to ruin a getaway. The 1st thing I bought after buying my Grumman was the full set of manuals, Flx was still in business then; spent $185 and undoubtedly still is the best value in bus!

If I could get DA BOOK for my 4104, I would be glad to purchase one. I have a 59 model, but it doesn't have the original DD 6-71. I have a 6V71 w/ V automatic, so I would also need info on servicing this setup.
