I have a 73 05 Eagle I am converting and in the thought of how to install a new entrance door. The previous owner reframed the bus to accept a "Trailor" door and screen. I have been told by a good friend from the State of Washington that he believes that he saw information on this board concerning the proper way to fabricate an entrance door for an Eagle that fits and looks real good. I have not raised the roof of the bus, I would appreciate a direction from other BusNuts to this information or whom I may contact for their advise. I would like actual pictures etc. if possible over the net if possible. Thank you ahead of time. This is such a priceless way of gathering advise and information, I am just so darn glad I was alive in this time era to see us be able to do this. Gary |

Gary, I used the two door halves that came with the bus and made a single door. From your post, however, I don't believe you have them. Do you?? If you do, I can send some pictures. If you don't and your frame has been modified at the original entrance, I can't be of much help. David Anderson |

Tony, I can't get that link to work. I thought it was the space between "entry" and "door", but still can't get it to work. Ed. |

cut and paste it. Appears to work fine for me. I have seen a better example of doing the two doors to one. I know there is a demo at http://www.walkercoach.com/exterior.shtml they demo a mci door but would be the same for eagle. I saw yet another somewhere and I will continue to look for it to see if I can find it. |
