Hey my bus supporting, firewood and grocery getter, trailor and dog hauling, personal vehicle is a 04 GMC pickup and i need a new soft cover. The original factory unit was ok but a pain in the winter because you had to fold the thin plastic up under and snap down. I see a good price on a 3 fold soft unit that attaches at the front and at the rear. Local they want 460, same on line is 275. and no tax. Thats a big difference. But anybody got any real experience with covers good and bad jump on in. I liked the origenal as it rolled up tight but the aluiminum supports were a pain also. Thanks

My brother has had one of those style covers on his last couple of pick-ups, and several of his friends have the same.

After using them and seeing them in action on our trips to NASCAR tailgating, I'd buy one in a minute.

FWIW.

happy coaching!

BW, you could actually camp out in the back bed with this cover! Depending on temp and weather you could fold back sections as needed and keep beverages out of the sun. after spending 20 mins putting the old one back on in prep for tonites "snow" i think gonna order the new one. Thanks.

I have a Truxedo, when I bought mine there was only one model but they seem to have several now. Top quality, survived 6 Canadian winters so far, works like new, looks good still, if you want a roll up cover take a look. No question I am happy with it. It rolls up easily to a 6" roll, you have access to the full bed, it removes with one wrench.
