You might find a baseplate in a wrecking yard. |

Just going to make them myself. Sorry I am not paying 399.00 for a set. I guess if I can raise the roof on my bus I can make a set of plates. |

I installed a set of Roadmaster adapters, on my 98 Grand Chrokee. Needed my hoist and about 3 hours, need to seperat the core support and slide brackets between frame and core support, and longer bolts for part of the instulation, included, very good instructions. Bought mine through K C Trailer Service & Supply of Eugene Or. (581) 689-0011--- .... Old Jeep 4 sale needed a truck, now have a 98 Dodge 2500 4x4 and have installed new Roadmaster bracket $339.99 less than 2 hours to install, but now need 8000-10,000 towbar, sorry not selling or removing old parts, may need to double tow. Also use Roadmaster air brake system tied to bus brakes (bought used missing one part) but purchased new part. |

it seems to be difficult to find a used set at a reasonable price, and many leave the brackets on when they trade. The dealer then removes and discards the brackets. Don't want prospective buyer to know it was being towed. |
