My 4516 is missing some of the window seals from the side windows. I searched for the part number from the book with no avail. This is the U shaped insert that goes into the window pane that slides on the aluminum track that holds the window in. Is this available it seems like it would be universal? |

Scott You might try calling Luke 1-888-262-2434 or trying a local window supplier to the RV trade. GM stopped using the fuzzy stuff and went to a hard plastic which makes the windows rattle. Bill |

FWIW... I had the same "problem" early in our conversion. Decided to use outdoor carpet...no, not the green plastic looking stuff, rather a gray with the weave that looks more like a regular carpet; but very tight and short in height....has a thin rubber type backing. It has served well and I can only say, I would do it again. If this has interest for you, look at Lowes, HD, or any other outlet that sells a good quality outdoor carpet. I used the same on a platform affair that folds down over the steps. It has been there for years and when vacuumed looks fine. ( So the "passenger has a place for feet....chair parallel with driver). Quiet and "weather proof"...so to speak... But...at the bottom line, I think Austinhardware.com still sells "window channel". RCB |

Luke hooked us up. He had it in stock. I'm just going to replace all of them. It was about 300 which seemed fine to me to know it's the right stuff and should hopefully go in fast without any extra tinker time to make something else try to work. However I appreciate the suggestions because if it was not available I probably would have tried the carpet way. |
