Dave Galey's Bus Converter's Bible in the Raising the Roof section explains that the std tubing is 40 mm with 3 mm wall thickness. He goes on to advise that (with the demise of the Eagle Production) 1-1/2 x .125 wall thickness may be substituted. Onward and Upward Marc Bourget |

Mild Steel will be just fine. Eagles aren't known for stainless steel or high strength alloys (like 4130)in their structure. Onward and Upward Marc Bourget |

My 1989 Eagle 20 has 40mm square tubing with a 2.5mm wall. I located some on the internet in Ohio. Was +/- $200 for a 20' stick shipped |
