Hi,
We own an un-converted '83 MC9 with the optional air conditioning unit mounted in the left rear overhead luggage rack. It does not work. The A/C unit has been converted to 134 freon. The lavatory gets VERY hot; so hot that the metal becomes too hot to touch! There's a steady stream of hot air coming out of the trash bin opening. The repair manual is vague concerning the optional A/C unit, and the parts manual does not provide any additional information. My questions are, 1)does anyone have any troubleshooting advice for the auxiliary A/C unit? and 2)are there any suggestions for eliminating the heat in the lavatory? Thanks for any help you can give... |
