Greetings, My bus is a GM PD4106, 8V71. I have a leaking fuel line at the top of the wall where the tubing enters the rear cargo bay, just forward of the rear wheels. Am wondering if air in the line after I make the repair is going to present a problem, and if so, what do I need to do about it. At this writing, since I haven't traced back to the engine, I don't know whether the fuel line in question is the supply or the return. Thanks for the help. Lord bless, kenny |

If it is the return it will not cause a problem if it is a supply it may cause a problem, I would make the repair then start the engine and run it art a high rate of speed to try and pass the block of air through the system, if the engine dies because of air I would fill the filters with air and restart the engine.. now with that said, I have installed an electric fuel pump on my bus to prime the filters and lines before I crank the engine, it is only used to prime the fuel system, the best thing I have ever done!! |

Dear Dwight, thanks for the info. First thing I'll do this morning is trace the lines to see what I'm working with. Hey RJ, when do you sleep? [:-) Lord bless y'all, kenny |

Dear RJ, I'll meetcha there. My dad used to tell me that was where he was gonna knock me to if I didn't straighten up. He used to hit pretty hard. I could end up there yet, possibly on my way there now, having been in transit these last few years [:-) Well, it's time to head out to the back yard and crawl under da bus. Lord bless ya, kenny |

Hi RJ, I in stalled it before the primary filter but not inline with the filters, I used a 2 tee's and check valve to put the pump as kind of a by pass pump, check my site, the button called "completed" then the button called "add ons" or http://www.homestead.com/dwib/files/addons.htm picture worth 1000 words.. |
