My neighbor has a 93 Saturn for sale. It has a 5 speed manual transmission, 70K miles and is in great condition. I have heard that Saturns make great tow cars. I'd appreciate any feedback about these autos. Also, what is the best setup to tow one behind our MC-9? Thanks for your help! |

Saturns were MADE to tow. Get a baseplate {what the tow bar hooks on to on auto}. A towbar, And a trailer ball on your coach and your gone. Some folks hassle the 12V, 24V deal , I have found for 24V coaches that magnetic lights , and 24V bulbs solves everything. Same setup used on boat or yard trailer , no hassles. FAST FRED |

I think FF pretty much says it, and I agree on the lights if u want to forego all the hassle. The big advantage Saturn had years back was the ability to tow their automatics 4 down without mods and without restrictions. A few Other GM cars now utilize the same trans. I know 3 people w/them, and they are all repeat buyers. Avoid the Blue Ox base plate, as it goes under the front air dam and drags on encroachments. Tow Master & Sterling come out above the air dam. |

Does anyone have a website address for Blue Ox? I have a nice tow bar but I need a base plate for our old Explorer. Jim-Bob |
