Hi. Great site! I would like to tow a full size pick-up behind an '83 MC9 (4 down). Does anyone manufacture a hitch or must I have one fabricated? Are there any other considerations when towing 4500 lbs. with the coach? It has the 6V92TA with 5 speed manual tranny. Thanx.

Hi William,

Go back to "The Board", skip down two topics to the "Tow vehicle" thread for some answers to your question which apply to your MC-9.

William: As for the 'hitch', I think you are looking at having one fabricated. I have not heard of a company that makes them. Some busses did have hitch bases installed behind the rear bumber. Most came with a tow hook eye rather than a ball. If u have that part it should be a simple matter to have a standard ball receiver attached to it, either bolted or welded
