Here's some updated interior photos of my MC8. There are several pages of pictures. Although it's ready for paint, I'm trying to get our "bus barn" dried in before the bus painting. It's too bad I can't afford fuel to go anywhere. http://groups.msn.com/July2004Busphotos/shoebox.msnw?Page=1 |

Auugghhhhh! Individuals like YOU make ME want to dive into MY conversion. Great pics!! Lots of work and $$$, I am sure. Did you hire a professional interior decorator or did the ideas come from just you all? Thank you. |

The floor is oak (not laminate). My wife picked the color and fabrics inside. Thanks for the nice comments. |

Hey Chuck, thanks for the update and further inspiration. I especially like your coach battery anti-corrosive solution. ;) |

Very nice work. What a feeling to have completed this undertaking and have such spectacular results.... OOHh, love Tootie, the guard dog, did it take long to install that? LOL As for the Temp frige, seems if it does not take too much space, it might be a nice place for pop and beer (HMMMM) when camping or whatever??? Very very nice. Oh, just in case, don't place metal objects on batteries. Though a clean battery is an insulator, the case can get a build up of acid and moisture from the battery cells and that becomes conductive. We measured from a battery case to negative full voltage one time. Be careful, be safe. cd |

nice to actually see one of the busses I read so much about. My Neoplan project is slowly taking shape, although I only have one day a week to work on her (18 month old daughter / self employed). So far I spent a day gutting out the seats and overhead compartments, 2 days cutting out the aluminum extrusion which held the compartments (installed before the windows were put in ARRRRRGGGG!)and pulling out all the wall covering. A day applying a sealer and reinstalling the insulation and a mylar vapor barrier, and two days boxing in the rear AC ducts above the bed area in the rear. I have some photos at http://www.frybrid.com/projects.htm#bus , take aa look and give me some ideas!!! Chris |
