I need to change most of my fuel lines on my 4106 with an 8v71. From the bluk head all around the fuel filters to the pump and motor. Any thing I need to do before or during starting this back up. Being that the lines will not have fuel or pressure. Never done any thing like this before. Pluss hearing about running a diesle out of fuel
Thanks

I understand that you dont put the pump before the fuel pump but after. The DDA people told me it can blow the seals or whatever the pump has inside it.
When they changed the injectors out in my 671 they did not use a pump. They held the gov/thottle wide oped until they were sure it was free of air.
When I changed out my fuel line from the tank to the primary filter, they told me to do the same. It worked
