Oct 31 at 10:00 am My wife died at home in her sleep from another hart attack. She was my bus buddy. She got realy sick December last year from her first hart attack. Never got any better. And was in a wheel chair. But thats when the bus was only stripped and had nothing in side. Between my full time job, weekends I had the bus rought in so we had the thing we needed to make a trip in September. We left here in North Carolina and went to Niagra falls Canada then to Utica New York. The trip Went pretty good we had a few problems but still made it home. But the reason I'm writing this is for the ones that don't have your bus ready and can't make a trip in it. DON'T wait till it's done. It was more fun incomplete then complete. And now that you all have read this. I'm telling you all we where young I'm 47 she was 45. We have 4 kids and 1 grandson. Just to show you how short life realy is. So enjoy your bus and family together Today. And Please I know how sorry every one feels but this is for you all to think why you have you bus and who you are shairing it with
Thanks

Bob, I'm sorry for your loss, at the same time you appear to have been blessed with a good mate.

Keep working on the bus for the Kids and Grandkids and honor her memory!

Very sad news... You seem to be keeping a positive attitude. Thumbs up for that.

I'm 49. You've got me thinking.

Hello Bob, sorry to hear about your loss, I told the wife the other day I was going to drive the bus and she looked at me like I was crazy hehehe. Got the roof raised and most of the metal done but no siding on the bus yet. Oh well maybe in a month, take care and keep working on the bus, best therapy in the world.

Sorry for your loss. You are so right when you say "do it today as you don't know what tomorrow holds". People are so busy and wrapped up in things that they forget about enjoying today. Keep up the positive attitude. Bill

Bob,
Our deepest condolences. Working full time as a papramedic/firefighter, I see all too much of this. Fortunately the 2 of you made the trip in your bus. It is so sad to have to tell someone their spouse is gone and have them reply "I wish we had done this or that" or say "I wish I had not yelled at them when I left this morning". I have learned to never leave a loved one in an angry mood, it could be the last time you see them. This is another reason to start using your bas as soon as possible. We set a goal of doing at least 1 week-end trip per month when we purchased our unconverted coach. In 5 years, there has only been 6 months that we did not go camping. These are usually the months of July and August when it is so hot is south Florida. If something happens to one of us, the other will have a lifetime of fond memories of the things we did together. Hello Bob
I am just back from Florida seeing the Mouse... and found your message, my deepest condolences from me and family.....

Thanks for your words and thoughtfulness. My bus was one of the "greatest hobbys" I have ever been involved in. Floor plans have changed so many times I have stopped counting. Who'd a thought I would be involved in such a large project? Time has flown by but it has been a good time.

Good hopes and dreams

Bob, for those of us who are currently without partner whether by choice or not, your message gives pause and perhaps renewed appreciation for what's really important.

Be good to yourself in this time of loss.

Bob,

Very sorry for your loss. You are right to go when you can. Tomorrow might be too late.

We have been blessed. My Buddy and I have driven our converted 4104 to San Diego, Fairbanks, Caribou, ME, Key West, and most places in between. Just made a quick run from Grand Rapids MI (25 degrees) to Rio Hondo TX (85 degrees). Life is good for us.
