A very busy place with the Sand Dunes and all.
Had a great time at Mac Woods dune rides. The sand dunes are AWESOME, something out of this world. The town is walking distance away with lots of play-land for the kids.
You could rent Go carts, bumpercars, water buggies, speed boats, fishing boats, waverunners, sail boats, Dune buggies and even Jeeps.
The state park had lots of use and bare ground in most sites. It was tight with the bus. Friendly staff helped make it easy for us. They even wanted a peek inside the coach, they loved it.
The park has a boat launch and beach with veiws of the sand dunes. Lots of kids on bikes, ours too.
The place to go when you have younger kids, this big kid had fun too. There were many other camping areas right near by if the state parks full or you want to be out of the busy state park.

We stoped at a few state parks on the west coast of Michigan. They were all very very nice. Most were full an needed a reservation Thursday-Sunday

We enjoyed Silver lake here is a link to Michigans state parks.
