I drove by that yesterday. I was heading southbound on the skyway and saw the bus stopped with ambulances in route on the Northbound side. Dug 75 MC8 |

That is the same "sunshine skyway bridge" that about 20 years ago was hit by the freighter SUMMIT VENTURE toppling the western span (was origaninaly 2 spans) and sending some cars and a GREYHOUND BUS 150 feet into the gulf of mexico. Niles |

20 years ago when the boat toppled the west side... I drove a bus over it, just hours before. On the return trip, some days later, on the remaining span, seeing the damage really gave me the creeps. |
