I purchased a KC-2500 and have a few questions for those who have one.

1. Can I connect vehicle speed input sensor directly to the speedometer?

2. Where did you mount the actuator in the engine compartment?

Thanks,

My speed sensor is wired into the harness that runs from the rear to the front panel. I tapped into that connection in the rear panel for the speedo signal.

I mounted the actuator on the curbside ceiling of the engine bay.

I discovered the hard way that the KC draws serious amps and ended up wiring mine through it's own private fused relay.

We used two signal generators stacked. One for cruise and one for speedo but King service person said we could have run off one.

The box we covered with insulation and mounted it high in the engine compartment with a 180 curve in the cable. HTH
