Does anyone know the guage/thickness of the sheet metal which is around the wheel wells on a 1980 Eagle? This is where the aluminum siding is riveted to. I do not want to pay $140 for each wheel well for u-profiles. Thanks

I believe it is 1/8" thick.

I bought mine from B&B Coach Works in Las Vegas
a few years ago. I had him cut them in half to
make it easier to ship UPS. I don't rembember
exactly how much they cost, but I think it was
less than $400 total. They are made from 16 gauge metal.

Good Luck!
