For your problem there are several solutions. Bring the fuel to me, pump half fuel into a oil drum, and add Power servive, or just drive baby drive. I have known several bus guys who used diesel fuel oil that was 8 , 6 and 5 years old with no problems. Calling some one in the yellow pages will get rid of your fuel. Call the big truck freight companies. Boy, I wish I lived closer.. Frank in Idaho |

Gelecamion, buy some extra fuel filters and use it to get your bus down the road. If you are really concerned about junk in the tank, get a couple or three 55 gallon drums to hold the fuel and drain the bottom of the tank into the last one. If you don't get serious crud from draining the bottom of the tank, the fuel in the 55 gallon drums ought to work fine. Letting it settle a few days or a week will clear up the stuff on top. Only put clear fuel back in the tank. What's left you might be able to turn into a bulk plant or other fuel supplier. Good luck. Tom Caffrey PD4106-2576 Suncatcher |

First smell the fuel, and if it smells like diesel, I'd say it's good to go. Brian |

Purchase 500 8oz bottles and get some labels , FUEL IMPROVER for better milage. or.. OIL ENHANCER , solves cold start problems. At $5 a bottle you should be rid of it in a week. No comission , thanks!. I stole the idea from Mystery Marvle Oil, Dura Lube And Slick (it into my wallet) 50. Reasonably ,If you can drain it and filter it to get the bugs water and ashphalt clumps out , its OK to burn. FAST FRED |

As the others have mentioned, Diesel is very stable. pump it into drums and seal it up. When you are ready to use, you can pump it through a Racor or similar filter back into your tank. Gary |

as you live in the Tuscon area you should have no trouble with the fuel , just dip the tank with a stick then see if there is any thing on the stick other than deisel and if it still has the strong smell of deisel just fill up the tank and run it through yor engine, and when the tank is enpty change the filters and refill the tank . we started a ore truck green valley that had sat for 12 years with the fuel in the tank and it ran great and when the filter was changed they onlf had the normal little bit of junk. |

That's good FF! Sort of like "WatrWetter" (25% Ethylene Glycol and 75% inert ingredients: water maybe, at $7.00/qt.) |

Anyone who knocks Water Wetter has never tried it. Without it, if I set my de Ville's cruise control at 75, turn on the A/C on a 90-degree day, & go up a few hills, the engine overheats. With Water Wetter, it runs hotter than I'd like it to (~220), but doesn't boil over. Results in my friend's Buick SkyHawk were similar: summer highway driving saw a 10-15 degree temp drop. Water Wetter very simply WORKS. |

Water Wetter is simply detergent. It, by itself, doesn't have Ethylene Glycol. Water Wetter reduces water's surface tension. You can get the same result with dish soap. Onward and Upward Marc Bourget |

Seriously, try your local fuel wholesellers. Bet they will PAY YOU something to come get it. Lots of uses for it after filturing. Good luck. |

Really don't know of any part of the country where you can't find someone to come out and polish your fuel if your really worried about it.Normaly cheaply done and then you have nothing to worry about. gg |
