I have a 1982 Prevost LeMirage, this bus has 22.5 tires and steel wheels, I want to change these to 24.5 tires and aluminum wheels, does anyone know if these will fit, and on the drive axel duals do i need a aluminum or steel wheel on the inside wheel and tire? |

I have an 84 Prevost LeMerage with 12 x 22.5 tires & aluminum wheels. The dual wheels are the same (and interchangable). 22.5 seems like a tight fit when the air bags are deflated; I doubt that 24.5 would fit. |

I have 24.5 on my '81 Mirage - I doubt that yours is any different. ie: they will fit. |

Hello Pat yes the 24 five aluminum wheels will fit fine if you use steel wheels on the inner duels they sell a separator so you won't get a reaction between the aluminum and steel you will also need longer nuts that hold the steel wheel on also you will have to change the studs on the front and tag axles also you do not need 12 in wide tires 11 in is what trucks use a lot easier to find and less money |
