It's 90% outside and my eagle roof is bending and popping. I have just gutted it out and have taken the windows out. Is this normal for the roof to bow in some areas and sound off when it does? jack |

If the structure is sound you should be able to remove everything, i.e. windows, siding, internal components without anything bending. So, somewhere you have a structural problem. Prather |

Sounds a lot like different thermal expansion between the frame and roof panels. Does your bus roof have a steel frame and aluminum panels? If so, you might try painting the roof white to keep it cooler and lessen the expansion, or perhaps replace aluminum panels with steel. I don't think insulation will solve this problem. Steve |

I've got aluminum roof on steel ribs. A coat of super reflective white (KoolSeal etc.) paint may do wonders. I now also have a 12 foot long roof rack that provides perpetual shade for 1/3 of my bus. Helps a lot too. Scott |
