Do any of you know if an Orion 6V92T driveline will bolt in to a MC-5C engine bay? I know I'll need to raise the height of the bay for the turbo, but would like to know if the engine rotation is the same and general hook ups. Both have Allison ATs. The Orion is a 35' round nosed double door transit style, but don't know exact year.

Yes, the Orion's powertrain should fit, and it's the same rotation if it's a T-drive. (RH)

Others have relocated the turbo, rather than modifying the blower compartment.

If the Orion's 6V has a DDEC on it, you may be limited to 275 hp, due to emissions regs. Detroit is being VERY reluctant to modify DDEC engines, and they've got the software "locked up". At least in the US, not sure about our Canadian friends. If it's a MUI, you can go to 350 reliable hp by changing to 9G90 injectors and a different turbo.

You will also need to make sure your cooling system can handle the extra heat load.

Thanks RJ, that's good news. My bus is a Saudi version which has the extra capacity cooling. I'm hoping this will be adequate if I do the swap.
