We haven't heard anything from the busnuts in the Valley today. They are probably close to the heater. Temperature in South Texas is almost as warm as Edmonton, Alberta (North of the 50th parallel). It is a good day here to do chores outside in shirtsleeves. I know, the forecast for tomorrow is 0 F and we pay for the warm days! |

Got a full inch on the ground in La Feria also, temp 30. Old people are all saying they never seen snow before. So much for the Global Warming theory. So much for my bannana crop also! |

In central Alberta, yesterday, it was +7°C and melting the snow. I just went outside in my shorts and tee shirt for half an hour... ...and I am pleased to report -29°C and gusting wind with snow. |
