Well it's finally here! It seems like it has been months coming but my time has come, from wannabe to bus owner. We picked up the bus (1972 Eagle 05/10) 12/23/00. It took about 4 1/2 hours to get from Victorville CA. To Las Vegas NV. (190 miles) There are a few good size hills and a few mean ones, Baker grade is 18miles long and the old 8V71 pulled the hill at 45 mph. However if you ever saw a mosquito fogger in the sixties this motor would put it to shame. Thick blue smoke from just one of the pipes. The only gages that worked were the speedo and air, well now the adventure begins!
