Have any of the NJT Eagle owners out their drained the bottom of their tanks to look for water? If so...how did you do it? I see no valves on mine to gain access to the bottom. The plate on the bottom of the tank has a bulged out area (low spot) but no drain cock. Is this plate a skid plate with the tank bottom and valves under it? Thanks for any pointers. Skip |

If I remember correctly there was a drain plug at the bottom of the end plate. That end is accessible by removing the sheet metal covering where it intrudes into the rear luggage bay. I can go out and check tomorrow. I did not drain the tank was only looking for place to install fuel gage. If nothing else there is a plug on top (same acess area) that you can remove and insert tube to bottom of tank |
