Hi All, Being fairly new to the busin scene (less than a year), it sounds like we missed a great time, last week in Florida. We do a lot of traveling in the east attending drag races, but have never attended a bus rally. What is the best publication or source of information on bus gatherings so we can make sure we add a couple into our plans for 2005. Do most get posted on Busnut.com, or should I try to contact someone in the region. We live just North of Cincinnati, OH. Cheers, Dave PD4501-304 |

Dave - Are you an FMCA member? There's often a listing of upcoming rallies, etc. in the back of their monthly mag, as well as a listing of all the chapters that are coach specific, such as Western Bus Nuts, GeMS, Southeastern Bus Nuts, etc. Most of these chapters have events planned throughout the year, well worth attending. At this point in time, the three "biggies" for us are Jack's "Bussin' 200x" over New Years in FL, MAK's "Gathering at the Caverns" during the spring (usually April) in AZ, and the new kid, "BusinUSA" during July in OR. Showing up to any of these bus rallies with your Scenic will cause lots of attention, believe me! EVERY busnut loves the Scenic, 'cause they're such a classic coach. They may not want to own one, but everyone respects them tremendously. See what you've gotten yourself into! RJ PD4106-2784 Fresno CA |

I have been to bus rallies all over the country, and the best, by far, are those put on by NW BusNuts during the summer months. A lot of these nuts are involved in the Bussin USA event which was new this year and I missed it. I suspect it was as good or better than the NW busnuts get togethers. Richard |

U simply cannot beat the food prepared by NW BusNuts. They did the meals for BusNUSA04 and I hear they are on again this year. They also do some of the cooking for Converted Coach rallies (pre-Nationals). |
