I have an 1981 Eagle and this past weekend, I noticed that when I turn the wheel, it is making a low "pop-ing" sound. Any ideas? |

Grease all steering zerks, see if it still pops. |

Sometimes turning the wheels against icy dirt or pavement will make a popping sound and you can feel it thru the steering wheel.
Was it icy, snowy and cold outside when you experienced the unusual popping sound? Or it could just be a very cold front end sounding off. |
