Hi All, The expansion tank bladder has broke. I can't get the darn thing out because I can't get at it with enough wrenches and arm strength to unscrew it from the piping back in the dark behind the corner drawers(factory install!). Can I leave it there and add another one somewhere convenient? Thanks, Craig S. |

You can leave it there if you cap off the line that went into it. If you don't, it will leak thru the shell in short order; they are thin. |

Like James said... unless of course the tank is stainless, but then I think you'd still want to disconnect the tank... the water behind the bladder will essentially be stagnant. Brian |
