Does anyone know the location of the Manufacturers I.D. plate on a 1966 Silver Eagle Bus?? I have a title with four didget number as I.D.? I think the bus was made in Beljeum those years. Its a series 01. Florida insists on a 15 didget I.D. #. If I could find the plate, I could transfer title. Until then, I'm stuck! What to do??? Doug Woodin, Bunnell, Fl. |

Dear Doug: I have an 62 OH-1. Check in the back, on the right side of the brace next to the battery area. My number is 6266. That is all of the numbers that they used back then. It should be stamped on the flat part of the metal as you look down. I ran into the same problem one time in using Good Sam. Hope this helps, Ron. |

Usually if you add the appropriate number of zero's in front of your number they will find it acceptable. The serial number on my bus was only 2 numbers, I added the zero's and have had no trouble is 2 states. Alan |
