The Outer Banks I think is one of the best places on the East Coast. The State Campground at Buxton, Cape Hatteras State Park, I find is the best campground with well spaced sites (paved) and great beaches, lighthouse, old coast guard station, etc. and great activities for the kids. The ocean on one side Pimlico sound on the other, wind surf, hang glide, snorkel, wave runners etc. Lots of fun. |
