Hi all.
First, IAN, if this is a problem with your advertisers, feel free to strike it from the ramblings.
OK, How about a 5 1/2" B+W monitor about $35, plug and play, runs on 13.5vdc, and an outside camera, with sound, for $29. Let see, that would be about $64 bucks for the set.
Note, I do not have the monitor, I found it in my hobbiest catalog, however, I AM familiar with the company and they are highly recommendable by myself.

The Camera is found at Harbor Freight Tools, Goes on sale often for $29 Bucks.
Just found the monitor today, I have used the cameras for awhile for a different use.

Hey gentlemen, and Ladies
I just received a flyer from HarborFreight and they have the camera on sale again.
It comes in B&W, ITEM 47546-1MPA $29.99
It comes in COLOR ITEM 91851-1MPA $39.99
Catalog says web sight is at HARBORFREIGHT.COM
These have the RCA plugs and power supply (NOTE I just noticed the power supply listed is 7.5vdc)
