If you go with a house hold refridgerator, how would you bolt down to secure it in place?

On my GMC4905 I used a house refidg. Took off the screw in levelers installed bolts with nuts straight down A second nut with washer drilled holes in floor set refg. in place & bolted it down using second nut above floor to adjust level. Worked great

Hope this helps

Pop Rivits! ....no way!
I would think 4 - 1/4" screws (with washers and nuts) as a minimum

Two Dogs got it right the first time, only I would use 2" angle instead of 1" and use LOTS of rivets on the reefer body and LOTS of bolts into and thru the floor. "Lets see....a 150 pound icebox decelerating at 10 gravities during a head-on wreck (quite user survivable really) results in...WOW!!, a lot of force!! Plus...don't forget about the doors! :-) :-)
