I found a local truck parts place who ordered me a new compressor for $275.00 will be here tomorrow. had ice in my line just past my pop off valve got rid of that and got her pumped up. I do not know where my air dryer is or if I have one any body know? 1970 4905. I want to service it but nothing in my manuals on air dryers. |

be sure & get a new D-2 air govenor also...15 to 20 dollars |

air dryer is an aftermarket item..???? Section 4 page 4 shows the preventive maintance chart for the air dryer , It was RPO (regular production Option) It shows It come with a AD1 or a AD2 Page 4-2v in the parts book shows where it is . But it dont show what side of the bulkhead Its on. but should be some place not far from the compressor disghage line if you bus had it as optional equipment. Mine was on the bulkhead just above the trans but I saw pic's where it was on the other side by the axle. Brian 4905 Klamath Falls Oregon |

Air compressor $268.74 and governor $15.05 + 22.85 UPS charge for shipping here and shipping core back. Not bad |
