When we drove the new bus home, the destination sign was still on display my young son just loved playing with that, he changed it many times, then he tired of it or i thought so anyway, we drove the 350 miles home. When we pulled into the driveway at home i got out and walked around the bus, strutting, proud that i made it home in one piece actually a bit cocky i do say, my wife walked around and stood in front of the bus and said come here and see this, i walked around to the front, she pointed up and said look!.......Extremely large letters read, "I'M LOST!" deflation occured immediately......

Brian, I had one of the Grey Lines Hawaii buses also, I sold my destination sign for $250. I was about to toss it in the trash when I found there were collectors of them. Did you get your bus from Bart Grabbhorn, Scapoose OR?

Once you empty it out, it occurs to me you could put off-road spotlights in there :-). All the way across. Fire that bad boy bank up, light up half the county.

Don,
I got mine from one of the employees of Grebbhorn. He tryed to convert it did a poor job only drove it a few 1000 miles from when it was shipped over.
Do you have any other info from the gray line over there?
Mine started out as a hotel bus for the 1st half of its life It looked like it had a cool looking paint job Brown with White & Yellow strips going over the roof like the gray hound type paint jobs before Gray Line repainted it .The best I could find was when it was sreviced they would use a grease pen and marked on some of the service pnls the last entry was 10/15/90 when it was shipped back to the states and go back as far as early 1980 when I guess gray line bought it from the motel. I been looking for info or pic's of any info on its first years over there.
Where is your old bus now?
I would like to find a pic of my bus over in HI ether as the hotel bus of Gray Line # 360.
